The Payroll Year feature in Acculyt AI helps organizations organize payroll processing by maintaining accurate salary records and payroll reports within defined payroll periods.

Introduction

Managing payroll within defined periods is essential for accurate salary processing and payroll reporting. The Payroll Year feature in Acculyt AI enables organizations to create and manage payroll years, ensuring employee salary transactions are processed within the appropriate payroll period.

Overview

The Payroll Year feature in Acculyt AI allows organizations to define and manage payroll periods used for salary processing. By organizing payroll data into specific payroll years and months, businesses can ensure accurate salary calculations, maintain historical payroll records, and simplify payroll reporting and year-end processing.

How It Works

Each payroll year represents a defined period for processing employee salaries. Once a payroll year is created and activated, all payroll activities—including salary calculations, allowances, deductions, and payroll reports—are recorded against the selected payroll year.

This ensures payroll data remains organized and allows organizations to maintain separate records for each payroll period.

Whether your organization processes payroll monthly or annually, the Payroll Year feature helps maintain structured and accurate payroll records.

Managing Payroll Years

To add a new payroll year, click + Add Payroll Year, enter the required Payroll Year and Payroll Month, then click Save. Once created and activated, the payroll year becomes available for salary processing and payroll reporting.

You can update payroll year details whenever required. Only the active payroll year is available for processing payroll transactions.

Create a payroll year before processing employee salaries. Ensure the correct payroll month is selected for salary processing. Only one payroll year should be active for payroll processing at a time
